Description: Within Padlet, you build a wall. With that wall, you will organize your information that you are wanting to include. Padlet can be thought of as an poster board for your final project. You can add a title and description, you can change the wallpaper and the layout to fit what you have in your mind.Then once you are finished, you are able to export your project in many different formats.
Use: Padlet would be good to have students use when wanting to display their final project in a class. Students can organize their information and have fun making their board look how they want it.

Description: Taskify is a website that helps organize the tasks that need to get done. With the creation of a new task, you are given a specific URL. For each task, you can create columns to have more specific lists.
Use: I would use this site in my personal life as a checklist. With this site, I would be able to keep up with the different tasks I need to complete for grad school and for my job.

Description: Class Dojo is a method of keeping track of behavior issues. Teachers can reward students for their good behavior almost instantly (if they put it into the website). When students are acting positively, teachers give them stars on the Class Dojo website. Students, teachers, and parents can all keep track of the student's behavior by logging into this site.
Use: This can be used inside of a classroom to help keep students on track. If keeping the behavior on the site isn't enough to keep students working hard and behaving, then maybe the teacher can set up a reward system. For every so many stars with their Class Dojo, then the student will receive some type of reward in the classroom.

Description: Dropbox is a free service (there are options to upgrade for a fee) that allows users to store documents and access them from any computer. The days of flash drives are over with this virtual storage. You can even access documents from your cell phone if you have the Dropbox app. Flash Drives don't allow you to do that!
Use: This tool is an amazing way to keep track of documents and photos without the worry of losing a flash drive. This is ideal to have when needing to work on an assignment in different places.

Description: Explain everything is an interactive whiteboard. You can: upload documents and pictures, move the objects on the board, draw and write on anything used, zoom in and zoom out, and you can even record yourself talking. After you are finished creating your whiteboard then you can export the finished products in different formats.
Use: This would be good to use as a way of creating a video for my students. If I wanted to give students a little extra help with a certain type of math problem then I could use this app to create a board to send to students.

Description: Jing is a tool that allows the user to capture their screen. Users can capture the screen they see, and they can also record what you are doing.
Use: This tool would be good to use when needing to explain how to follow steps on a computer program. For example, we can use Jing to show statistics students the procedure to follow when using data analysis in excel.

Description: Wideo is an online tool to create and share animated videos. First you select your background, it can be a color or an image. Then you can either select an object they provide or upload your own. After inserting the objects, you have the option to create text and sound. With each object inserted, you also have the ability to create animation. You drag and slide the images how you want the animation to go and the image follows that path. After creating your video, there are different options to share the final project.
Use: This tool would fun for students to use to summarize a given research topic, or just to make a quick informational video. Teachers could use this to create animated videos that help explain certain ideas and topics.
